mDog’s technology powers the mobile web presence and SMS alert capabilities for such marquee publishers as Dow Jones, Forbes, Nielsen eMedia, IDG, Ziff-Davis, bizjournals.com and Careerbuilder.  mDog’s unique value proposition is to manage and license its mobile platform for the development, hosting, ad-serving, monetization, and maintenance of a partner’s mobile initiatives. In exchange, mDog maintains syndication agreements with its partners on the mDog.com mobile portal.

A formidable list of publications that have adopted the mDog model include The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, Billboard, Computerworld, MacWorld, PC Magazine, Adweek, Infoworld, CIO, and The Hollywood Reporter - among dozens of others.

Brett Tabke
CEO
Webmaster World.com
Brett was introduced to computers during his senior year of high school in 1979. He attended a small college and then went to work for a company called NCR, in Denver, Colorado. He also worked part time programming Commodore software for such notables as Epyx, Berkeley Softworks, Mindscape, TwinCities, and others. At the height of Commodore’s popularity in the 80s, Brett wrote a book for Western Design (a designer of the 6502 CPU), and Ahoy Magazine named Brett one of the top 6502 machine language programmers in the world. Brett remained in Colorado until 1990 and then moved to Iowa to work for a major computer manufacturer. Most of his six years there was spent working with bulletin board system (BBS) and net promotions.

Brett has run BBS’s (precursors to what we now call forums) since 1984. The evolution from stand-alone BBS’s to forums on the web and his commitment to community building is a logical extension for Brett. His fascination with the web spurred him to start building web sites and learning as much as possible about online traffic. He quickly became an expert on the subject of Internet traffic, and was a source of information for many of his business contacts and associates who were looking to get better traffic from the search engines.

Reflecting on the path he has taken to get to where he is today, Brett said, "In the last 20 years, I have watched WebmasterWorld go from a little BBS at the end of a 300 baud modem to become the major Internet site it is today, with many days at well over one million page views. My commitment to keeping WebmasterWorld as the source of quality discussions and news means I am constantly focusing on the thing that lies at the heart of WebmasterWorld: community. Building one of the web’s largest online communities has clearly been the work of a lifetime. And the fascinating part is that this is just the beginning."
